Sideswiped Part 2

okay. wrong about the wedding. it DID happen. dealing.

this morning, he knocks on my door with now a RING-ADORNED left hand, just to say hello. vomiting.

for all his talk about beauty, spirits, love and caring, i am now recognizing the most important word missing from that fine and grand list: compassion.

i can't wait to move. vegas, monaco: this is the galvanizing call. viva el apartamento nuevo!!!

Bells and Whistles

Vegas and I just completed our first screenplay together and emailed it off. YAY! I'm creating our own bells and whistles to congratulate. YAY! YAY!

and on the other front, the greencard wedding is NOT happening. Phew. It's a good day.

THE FOOD

tonight, good friends all meeting together for a screening. maybe i should have combined this blog with the other blog entry of tonight, but different thoughts. anyway, all out to have a good time and the people i was carting around got tired WAY early. at least an hour to an hour and a half before call. bad situation. i'm playing darts with cute guys and a good friend and not anywhere close to leaving. but somehow, it's my problem. the next option: find a ride. i do. but, it's not going home in my car with the leftovers. and my friend is more concerned with the leftovers in the car then how everyone is getting home. i mean, gnocchi is good, but the gnocchi from dinner? not the end of the world. i guess she's right about needing sleep.

i ask allie whether it's okay to post this because i don't want to be catty. but let's face it, maybe i am.

indigo girls and other rock stars...

here with allie in her rock star wife beater. wish i could blare the music louder but that would wake up the neighbors downstairs.

too bad. tonight's a spontaneous dance party wanting to happen. how great when good friends can sing loudly together.

love to allie and monaco. xoxoxox

oh yeah, THAT little thing.

sideswiped today. after being smothered in welcome back kisses by a guy i've been seeing off and on for over a year and a half, he happens to mention he might be marrying a woman so she can get her greencard and in exchange she'll manage his career. oh, and they've been sleeping together, but the arrangement will be strictly business. would i mind?
